Project Overview

Showing others, the outdoor wonders of southern Utah is something I personally enjoy. This project entitled doing this by leading hikes in various areas around southern Utah.

Hikes were day hikes through and to beautiful and natural landscapes, amazing and unique rock features, sites of historical, archaeological, and paleontological significance, and various panels of pictographs and petroglyphs. Some hikes were rigorous and difficult in high temperatures and rough terrain. Careful and specific planning, organizing, and preparation was made for each of the different hikes for each member of the group I led.

In all, this project exposed others to the wonders of the outdoors with me as their leader and guide. This gave me experience in how to be an effective leader.
